Support us for 2025

Join the incredible family of donors that is vital for the ongoing success of Wellington Opera, bringing opera with Aotearoa New Zealand artists and creatives to Wellington and audiences that join us from across the motu.

For 2025 we have an additional challenge - Wellington Opera was declined funding from Creative New Zealand. While we are working hard to resolve that for future years, our 2025 season remains at risk.

Your support will help us bring the 2025 season to life.

December 2024 update

Thank you to so many supporters for helping us reach our December 2024 campaign target. Wellington Opera is very grateful for the outpouring of support.

Are we out of the woods? Not entirely - there is still a significant funding gap for this season. Further contributions will support the goal of the launching our 2025 season.
